About the place -
Anjarle Beach is situated in the Ratnagiri District in Konkan region of Maharashtra. Every year Olive Ridley Turtles make their nests on Anjarle Beach and lay eggs. Due to many threats the number of these turtles is decreasing rapidly. As a part of the conservation program of these endangered species of marine turtles, an NGO, Sahyadri Nisarga Mitra, Chiplun has arranged a Turtle Festival in Anjarle. Tourists get an opportunity to greet baby turtles and witness their release in the sea.
During this Anjarle Turtle Festival; watch Turtle Hatchlings prepare for their awe-inspiring journey into the sea, Explore Suvarnadurga, Ganesh Temple, walk on a beautiful beach and enjoy a taste of typical Konkani food.

Itinerary -
Friday -
- Travel towards Anjarle, pickups on the way
Saturday -
- Reach Anjarle at 5 am
- Get fresh and be ready for Turtle sightings.
- At 6.00 am we will go for Turtle Festival at Anjarle Beach.
- Breakfast
- Visit Suvarnadurga and Fish Market at Harnai Port
- Keshavraj Temple near Harnai
- At 5.00 pm to Anjarle Beach for Turtle Festival
- Dinner at rooms and retire for the day.
Sunday -
- Wake up and visit Turtle Festival at 6.00 am
- Spend some time at the beach
- Breakfast at 8.00 am
- Visit to Kadyawarcha Ganpati
- Lunch at Anjarle
- After lunch start return journey for Mumbai
- Reach Mumbai by 10:00 pm (Tentative)

Rules to be followed
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, drugs, narcotics is strictly not allowed and would lead to expulsion from the trek.
- Leader's decision will be final and binding to all members. No arguments will be entertained.
- Each member is responsible for their own safety and baggage.
- Please do not wear any jewellery or gold ornaments.
- Please do not litter. Do not throw plastic, paper, wrappers, bottles etc. Carry them home to throw in the dustbin.
- We strongly believe in saying - Wherever we go, leave only footprints and take back only memories.
Other Info
Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing / Rappelling is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care. The organization will not be responsible for any injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.
