About the place -

Tadoba Andhari Reserve is the largest national park in Maharashtra. Total area of the reserve is 625.4 square kilometres.  Tadoba Tiger reserve borrows its name from the local Tribal lord Taru.

Tadoba is famous for Bengal Tigers and is also home to other mammals, including: Indian leopards, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena, small Indian civet, jungle cats, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, chital, chausingha and honey badger. Tadoba lake sustains the marsh crocodile. The lake is an ornithologist’s paradise with a wide diversity of water birds, and raptors. 195 species of birds have been recorded, including three endangered species. The grey-headed fish eagle, the crested serpent eagle, and the changeable hawk-eagle are some of the raptors

Day 1 : Saturday, 8th May 2021 -

  • Transfer to Nagpur in AC SUV
  • Lunch at Nagpur
  • Travel back to Mumbai / Pune

Wednesday, 12th May 2021-

  • Reach Mumbai by 6:30 hrs

Rules to be followed
Few rules we would like people follow - 

  • Respect Forest Guides and gypsy drivers and follow their instructions.
  • Do not get down from your gypsy inside the reserved forest.
  • Making loud noise and playing music in the forest is not allowed.
  • Do not try to touch or feed wild animals.
  • Keep safe distance from the wild animals and keep them their space.
  • Do not use camera flash while clicking photographs of wild animals and birds.
  • Do not litter. Keep the area clean. Carry chocolate wrappers, plastic covers, paper and other waste with you and dump it in the dustbin.

​[The restrictions are due to COVID 19 and are mandated by guidelines and directions of NTCA and Government of Maharashtra. These are temporary restrictions and will be reviewed periodically as per the directions of Government of Maharashtra and NTCA, New Delhi.]

  • Masks are mandatory.
  • Thermal checks are mandatory.
  • All vehicles entering the park are to be mandatorily disinfected before entry.
  • Suspected COVID-19 individuals shall be mandatorily directed to nearest COVID-19 Care/Isolation centres as directed by district authorities.
  • Tourists below the age of 10 years and above 65 years shall not be allowed inside the park.
  • Only 4 persons shall be allowed per vehicle excluding driver and guide.
