About the place -


Located in the southern boundery of Madhya Pradesh and the districts of Seoni and Chhindawara, the PenchTiger Reserve is named after the Pench river, flowing through the Satpura Hills. Pench Tiger Reserve and its neighbourhood is the original setting of Mowglee and Sherkhan (Rudyard Kipling's most famous work, The Jungle Book).

Pench National Park, comprising of 758 SQ Kms, out of which a core area of 299 sq km is the national park and and remaining 464 sq km is the buffer area. Rich in its biodiversity, its terrain defined by hills, valleys and the occasional precipitous slope,Pench is an important ecosystem supporting an abundance of flora and fauna, including a rich variety of aquatic life. 

Pench National Park is four different forest regions in one, an extravagance of trees, shrubs, grasses, climbers, weeds and herbs, with teak being the most prominent of the tree species. The park is home to 33 species of mammals, 164 species of birds, 50 species of fish, 10 species of amphibians, 30 species of reptiles, and a wide variety of insect life.

Mumbai Participants - Travel from Mumbai CST by Vidarbh Express at 19:00 pm 

Pune participants - Travel by Pune - Nagpur Garib Rath at 5:40 pm


Day 1 - Friday, 26th April 2024

  • Arrive at Nagpur Junction at 9:00 am & Breakfast
  • Transfer to Pench and check in at the Resort 
  • Freshen up and Lunch 
  • Afternoon Jungle Safari in open Gypsy
  • Slide Show / Documentary on wildlife in Pench
  • Dinner and retire for the day


Day 2 - Saturday, 27th April 2024

  • Wake up call at 5:00 am
  • Morning Jungle Safari in open Gypsy
  • Lunch and Rest
  • Evening Jungle Safari in open Gypsy
  • Enjoy the evening with Tribal Folk Dance
  • Dinner and retire for the day

Day 3 - Sunday, 28th April 2024

  • Wake up call at 5:00 am
  • Morning Jungle Safari in open Gypsy
  • Check out of the Resort
  • Drop at Nagpur Junction Railway Station 
  • Lunch on the way to Nagpur
  • Return journey to Mumbai by Vidarbh Express at 5:15 pm
  • OR to Pune by Nagpur - Pune Superfast Express at 6:35pm
  • Alternatively you can take a flight back to reach home on same day


Monday, 29th April 2024

  • We reach Mumbai by 7:00 am or Pune by 9:45 am
  • Tour ends with beautiful memories of the wilderness of Pench

Rules to be followed

Few rules we would like people follow - 

  • Alcohol drink and Smoking is strictly prohibited on our trips.
  • Respect Forest Guides and Gypsy Drivers and follow their instructions.
  • Do not get down from your gypsy inside the reserved forest.
  • Making loud noise and playing music in the forest is not allowed.
  • Do not try to touch or feed wild animals.
  • Keep safe distance from the wild animals and keep them their space.
  • Do not use camera flash while clicking photographs of wild animals and birds.
  • Do not litter. Keep the area clean. Carry chocolate wrappers, plastic covers, paper and other waste with you and dump it in the dustbin.
