About the place -
Tadoba Andhari Reserve is the largest national park in Maharashtra. Total area of the reserve is 625.4 square kilometres. Tadoba Tiger reserve borrows its name from the local Tribal lord Taru.
Tadoba is famous for Bengal Tigers and is also home to other mammals, including: Indian leopards, sloth bears, gaur, nilgai, dhole, striped hyena, small Indian civet, jungle cats, sambar, spotted deer, barking deer, chital, chausingha and honey badger. Tadoba lake sustains the marsh crocodile. The lake is an ornithologists paradise with a wide diversity of water birds, and raptors. 195 species of birds have been recorded, including three endangered species. The grey-headed fish eagle, the crested serpent eagle, and the changeable hawk-eagle are some of the raptors

- Making loud noise and playing music in the forest is not allowed.
- Do not try to touch or feed wild animals.
- Keep safe distance from the wild animals and keep them their space.
- Do not use camera flash while clicking photographs of wild animals and birds.
- Do not litter. Keep the area clean. Carry chocolate wrappers, plastic covers, paper and other waste with you and dump it in the dustbin.
