About the place -

If anyone starts trekking in Himalaya then Ali-Bedni Bugyal is best trek for them. This trek starts from Wan, a quaint village perched on the green slopes of mountains. The trail passes by the small huts, cattle sheds, step farming fields, children greet you with innocent smile, shepherd boy leisurely walks past with his flock of sheep, path takes you to the top of the hill, this place is called 'Ran-Ka -Dhar', other side of the mountains opens up before you and you can witness the first glimpse of Mt Trishul. Trail goes down the hill up to Neel-Ganga River which is coming down from Bedni Bugyal. Treacherous uphill trek through dense forest starts after crossing the Neel-Ganga. Walking through Chir Pine and Rhododendron Forest listening to the sound of chirping of birds, rustling of leaves and gurgling of narrow streams, brings one closer to nature.

Seemingly endless stretch of green meadows of Bedni Bugyal surrounded by many Himalayan peaks in the horizon is a huge grazing ground for mules, horses and sheep. Reflection of Nandaghunti and Trishul in Bedni Kund add to the beauty of this place.
