KAATALDHAR WATERFALL TREK
29th July 2018
THIS EVENT IS OVER !!

Brief Info

Region: Lonawala

Grade: Medium

Trek Duration: 2.5 Hrs (one way)

About the place -

Monsoon magic has arrived, temperature is pleasant, clouds are touching mountains, our beloved Sahyadri has carpeted itself with lush green vegetation and various water streams falling over cliffs are in full form. Lonawala is a hot spot during monsoon and one of the very beautiful waterfalls near Lonawala, seen from nearby Rajmachi Fort is known as Kaataldhar Waterfall. Trek to this waterfall gushing over 350 feet cliff is really adventurous. One has to walk for about half an hour on a flat mud road and then descend through the thick forest cover, crossing couple of streams. Kaatldhaar is not visible till you reach very close to it and the first view of it will definitely gives you goose bumps.
