About the place -

Saidongar is a small village on a hill near Potal-Pali in Karjat taluka. There is a local deity of Bhairoba in a cave.

Kusur Ghat is one of the ancient trade routes that connects Bhivpuri village in Konkan to Kusut village on the Ghat. Kusur ghat was a major trade route along with Naneghat and Borghat. There are huge lakes in both the villages and some water cisterns in the middle of the route to quench the thirst of traders / porters who carried shit load of goods to and from Pune region.. The lake in Bhivpuri village was built by Parvatibai, Wife of Sadavshivrao bhau, in his remembrance, when he died in the battle of Panipat in 1761. It was built at a cost of 75,000 INR Circa. The pass is not much in use these days and thus is covered with dense forest.
