About the place -
Hampi, the capital of Vijayanagara empire in the middle of 14th century is one of the most amazing places in India. It has rock cut temples, towering piles of boulders, fascinating history and everything you need to have a truly fantastic time. Situated on the banks of river Tungabhadra and spreaded over a distance of 30 sq kilometer, the Hampi complex including Anegondi, Hampi and Vijayanagar have an estimated number of 500 monuments identified so far. Hampi has a lost glory but still many of the temples has excellent rock carvings of gods, demons, depicting beauties and beasts.

- Travel by Train from Mumbai to Hospet at 9:20 pm
- Reach Hospet by 12:45 pm
- Travel to Hampi by local transport
- Check in at the hotel and freshen up
- Guided tour to Hampi
- Explore Krishna Temple, Krishna Bazzar, Kadalekalu Ganesha Temple, Sashivekalu Ganesha Temple,
- Explore Ugra NarasimhaTemple, Badava Linga
- Sunset from Hemkuta Hills
- Explore Virupaksha Temple, Hampi Bazzar
- Back to the hotel, rest
- Dinner and retire for the day

- Freshen up and Tea
- Explore underground Shiva Temple, Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stable, Hazara Rama Temple
- Explore Roya Enclosure, Queen's Bath etc
- Post lunch explore Anegundi side.
- Explore Anegundi Rama Cave, Annjanadri Hill (Lord Hanuman Birthplace)
- Pampa Sarovara (Shabri Cave)
- Back to the hotel after sunset
- Dinner and retire for the day

- Wake up at 6:00 am, freshen up, breakfast
- Hike to Matanga Hills to enjoy Sunrise (Optional)
- Explore Achutaraya Temple Complex, Vijaya Vitthala Temple complex, Stone Chariot etc
- Enjoy Coracle Ride and Photography
- Travel to Mumbai by train at 1:40 pm

Things to be carried
Here is a list of all the things that needs to be carried for the trek -
- A haversack to put in everything to be carried
- Water 2 liters at least
- Extra Pair of clothes with towel / napkin
- Torch with extra batteries
- Camera and Charger / Extra Batteries
- Something to munch on during journey
- Personal medicines required if any
- Identity Proof
Rules to be followed
Few Rules we would like people follow -
- Consumption of alcohol, smoking, drugs, narcotics is strictly not allowed and would lead to expulsion from the trek.
- Leader's decision will be final and binding to all members. No arguments will be entertained.
- Each member is responsible for their own safety and baggage.
- Please do not wear any jewellery or gold ornaments.
- Please do not litter. Do not throw plastic, paper, wrappers, bottles etc. Carry them home to throw in the dustbin.
- We strongly believe in saying - Wherever we go, leave only footprints and take back only memories.
Other Info
It is advisable to wear full sleeve clothes and comfortable trekking shoes.
Hiking / Trekking / Rock climbing is an adventurous activity and accidents can happen in spite of taking utmost caution and care. The organization will not be responsible for any injury / accident / death to the participant while on trek.
